Fun things to do in Brisbane

Launched in 2020, To Do Brisbane is your one stop shop for getting out of the house, and experiencing what fun things Brisbane has to offer. We offer a range of experiences, from exercise and paint classes to pub crawls and fancy dress parties. Our events are a great way to meet people and make new friends too. Each event we run has a designated host to make you feel welcome, make introductions and troubleshoot any issues you may have.

What’s on in Brisbane

Not only do we run our own events, we also provide an abundance of information on what’s on in Brisbane. Brisbane nightlife is really starting to take off, with venues such Howard Smith Wharves, Emporium Hotel (Southbank), W Hotel and X-Cargo all opening in the last couple of years. We’ll let you know which venues are newly opening, running themed nights or offering specials.

What to do in Brisbane

With the beautiful Queensland weather, there is so much to do in Brisbane to keep you busy, and we’re here to let you know what to do! The Brisbane river is iconic and an undeniably essential ingredient to so many experiences. From Southbank to Eat St Northshore, countless venues and locations owe their identity to the Brisbane river. Aside from running or jogging the many riverside paths; kayaking the river, climbing the Story bridge and rock-climbing or abseiling the Kangaroo Point cliffs are all Brisbane activities everyone should try.

Brisbane festivals

Normally Brisbane is home to a host of festivals, at locations such as Musgrave Park and the RNA show grounds. Think of the Ekka, Oktoberfest, Greek festival and dessert festival to name a few.  Whilst 2020 has not been a bumber year for festivals (to put it lightly!) some festivals are beginning to pop up, and when they do we’ll be sure to let you know!
